What this site is, and what it will not tell you

We are not a dental practice, and the difference matters before you send anything. A marketing company runs this site. It does not provide dental services, it is not a dental practice, and it provides no clinical advice. What it does is take an enquiry and pass it to a dental practice working in your part of Newcastle. Ask the practice whether any Medicare item applies to your case rather than assuming one does. Private cover is set fund by fund: the Australian Government’s private health site says waiting periods for general dental generally run from two to six months, and that each insurer sets its own. Both questions are worth settling before you commit.
Ask for a total in writing, and ask what it leaves out. A weekly figure is not a price. Before you commit to anything, ask the practice for a written total, and ask specifically what is not in it — imaging, any preparatory work, the components themselves, and follow-up visits are the usual places a number moves. A practice that answers that question plainly is telling you something useful about how it works, whatever the number turns out to be.

The practice takes it from there. Assessment, options, and any figure you are given all come from them. We are not in that conversation and we do not see your clinical information. If the practice is not the right fit, tell us and we will stop passing your details on.
